Flexo Plates

Flexo plates, like letterpress plates, are relief plates with image elements that are raised in open areas. In contrast to hard letterpress plates, they are flexible in nature. They are used in rotary printing presses and with low-viscosity inks. Flexo plates have a Shore A durometer hardness of 25-55, while letterpress plates have a durometer reading of over 60.
